The Last Reflectone Simulators.

Can anyone tell me the cause of vibrating controls on a Reflectone RJ 85 sim when running QTGs
When running some plots the controls nearly self destruct.

The sim was about'91 with hydraulic C/L

Have you tried adjusting the controls amps, each one has its own amp. You have to balence the +10Vdc and -10Vdc out so they don't shudder.

Some photos of the Reflectone built A320 Sims for the Airbus Training Center. The single Sim is in Tampa facility, the 3 Sims are delivered at the training center. The customer was so pleased, CAE bought Reflectone.

Spoken as a man who has worked on reflectone sims- this is sad. They made good hardware.

If the photog would have moved back 15 feet, the picture would include the 4th reflectone A320 ffs at ATCMIA. they have also upgraded all these sims to STD 1.3.1(PEGASUSvs LEGACY). back further are the 2 remaining thomson/aeospeciale A330/A340 convertible sims. 1 ffs and 1 fbs. the A320 fbs went to ERAU in Prescot, AZ.

I was here at ERAU from the start till almost the end of C4. Who bought it? Where is it now?

Pan Am MIA has one of the RI A320s. It is STD 1.3.1.
